The Annual Fun Run and Walk at Riverview Park and Zoo
Scheduled for Saturday June 3, 2023 (THIS SATURDAY!!)
Our Fun Run and Walk is a vital fundraiser for Riverview Park and Zoo, and we remain passionate and committed to raising funds and supporting this year’s important goal: the refurbishment of the outdoor meerkat habitat and exhibit.
Pre-Registration:
If you want to save the line-up or catch a couple more zzz's on Saturday morning, you have the option to come to the Education Centre at Riverview Park and Zoo on Friday afternoon between 3-6pm to register and pick-up your bib etc.
Race Day Schedule:
7am - Registration Opens at Rotary Education Centre.
Then make your way towards the Gazebo.
7:45am - Yoga warm up with Salti Yoga at the Gazebo.
8:00am - Opening Ceremonies at the Gazebo.
8:10am - 1Km participants head to the starting line (near the Gazebo).
8:15am - 1Km race begins!
8:30am - 1Km award ceremony (at the Gazebo).
8:55am - 5Km participants head to the starting line (near the Gazebo).
9:00am - 5Km race begins!
10:00am - 5Km award ceremony (at the Gazebo).
